 Invincible Iron Man The plot of The Invincible Iron Man, while comic book cliché, does not in anyway take away from the original comic books intensity. Like its predecessors in the series it remains true to the legacy that has already been formed on paper. While there are some subtle creative differences, only really die hard fans will notice them, and the movie is enjoyable despite any creative license that has been taken by the writers and animators. Tony Stark, the owner of Stark Enterprises, and an inventor of military weapons wants to begin a new project. He plans on raising the ruins of a lost city in China, despite the local’s objections. He succeeds, but with the ruins he brings with it ancient evil. Prophecy had foretold the rising of an evil sorcerer named Mandarin and Stark has brought him back to life, by disturbing the sacred grounds of the city. Mandarin’s intent is to, of course, rule the world, and only Tony Stark can stop him. Using his knowledge of military weaponry Stark builds a suit, made up of high tech metals and fierce weapons. This suit may not be enough to combat the forces Tony has unleashed, and an epic battle is sure to ensue.
